Pattie lost a total of 12.5 inches in just 3 months with training in her small group just 2-3 days a week. Exercise and purposeful exercise is ONLY 20% of the transformation process.
The real transformation happens with changes to your lifestyle such as water consumption, toxic free living, getting rid of the processed foods, consuming an anti-inflammatory diet, getting enough sleep, recovery and bringing balance to all areas of your life (work, relationships, hobbies, play, spirituality and finding your purpose). Little by little, you establish healthier habits and override the poor habits that are preventing you from becoming the best version of you!
This is called a lifestyle, not a diet. Diets are temporary and when you "go off" them, the weight comes back.
Pattie will be the first to admit that the only thing she's changed at this point is her breakfast, but she's consistent with that. She's now focusing on adding in more vegetables to further her progress! We've also upgraded her treats to lower sugar or no sugar options to further her progress! I'm so proud of her!
I saw an ad recently for someone that was looking for a personal trainer who "delivered results". Well, I'm quite confidant that most trainers know how to train their clients but rarely emphasize the importance of food and lifestyle habits and drive that point home. That said, the real transformation (and possibly the hardest) happens when your trainer isn't around. It's the emotional eating & drinking, social situations,excessive eating ,processed food living, no sleep, and sedentary lifestyle that is the devil in the white dress, not the trainer;-)
